Working on the buses at my church. We have a 91 Ford B600 that starts fine but as soon as you let off the key it runs out of fuel within a few seconds. What would cause the fuel pump to cut off with the starter upon key release?

This can be any number of things from fuel psi regulator, fuel pump, fuel filter, filter housing, pickup tube to the vent line on the tank being clogged. Lose of fuel psi also can be caused by lose of vacuum in the fuel system. Lines cracked rubbed open cracked filter head etc. is this a crank no start or crank hard start?
