Hi all I am new to this site.
I do have a question about chips or tuners for better fuel mileage on my 2004 Silverado 6.6 Duramax Diesel.
Anyone have experience with any of these products for better fuel economy

Welcome from Nor Cal.
I will recommend PPE Xcellerator. One of the best box tuners for the Duramax. I had a PPE Xcellerator Standard for 2 years loved it improved my MPGs by 3-4MPGs.

Welcome to diesel forums!
Steve is right the best bang for the buck is the PPE (pacific performance engineering) if your needing a little more and a willing to pay for it. EFILive will get you dialed in. Steve has all the connections for these products.

I think you have to ask yourself, what's more important?
More Horsepower and Torque or a little more fuel Mileage.

At 3 or 4 mpg gain at. How many mile do you have to drive in order to re-coop the cost of that tuner or chip?
During that time, it's gonna be hard NOT to play with that extra Horsepower = drop in mileage = a few steps back in re-coop cost of tuner.

Your driving habits and driving technique can also make a similar gain in fuel mileage

I didn't by my truck for it's fuel mileage capabilities. I love my truck for it's HP and Trq
