ok so let me give you the rundown..

my wife just picked herself up an outfit that is i guess considered "western wear" just a denim skirt, midriff bearing Peasant shirt (very hot looking with her recent boob job), and a pair of cowboy boots.

now here is the interesting part. I am going home on midtour leave here very very soon. She wants me to take her to a "Cowboy" bar/ night club while I am on leave. She has already explicitiy told me I need to dress the part.. no sneakers or anything like that.

so obviously this isnt something that is a part of my daily wears... so i am not looking to buy $500.00 boots or a $400.00 hat.

I need some opinions on what I am looking at

the boots.. Harley Davidson "Clifton" boots

the hat.. well i dunno what to really look at here but I think this will do...

am I on the right track here? I am just gonna wear a white t-shirt and jeans with this. PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE!

I don't know why you are going crazy on the hat. The boots are nice. You can go with the classic white tee or you can go with a flannel button up shirt with blue jeans, and if you really want to go all out get a belt buckle. I am sure a local store will have a better looking cowboy hat that is a hell of a lot cheaper.

Stetson's are nice...and if you shop around you can find one for a reasonable price. The boots are cool. I've got 5 or 6 pair of boots in my closet but haven't worn them in years because of my back. :158: There was a time I didn't even own a pair of tennis shoes!

I thought you were posting up your usual joke, Till I saw the links. Those are quite sensible. I'd wear the boots, but not the hat. This hat is more my speed. At a cheap price! This is a ranch hand hat! Made to be stomped on and replaced!

If your worried about being mad fun of because you don't wear a felt try this one. http://www.stetsonhat.com/

Where are y'all thinking of going out to? Cowboys? Copperhead Road? You know there are a few places here in town you could go buy what ya need. Me personally, I like the Rocky boots I have. I too need to get a hat soon. Ya know, if this whole gig with this lil lady I am talking to right now pans out like it looks like it is going to, we should all go out for a night on the town for some good ol' country fun.

I think she said something about cowboys. I posted up that nice looking stetson for $89.00 shipped, and i found the harley boots for $99.00 shipped

Cool man, thank sounds like some good fun right there. I personally would go try the stuff on and get fitted right before I bought anything. You could get the hat shaped at the same time as well.

so i bought the stetson. i went on their webiste and used their how to on how to measure for a hat, and got exactly the same size as my military patrol cap. so i ordered it for $89.00 shipped directly from the manufacturer.

now just gotta find what boots I will get. I am debating between the Justin's and some Jama boots. both in black!

justin's

Glad you figured out the stetson website. I sent you the first link to the straw hat, the other went directly to the main order page. I'd go with Tony Lama but they are pricy. Good choice on the hat and the price is highly reasonable.

i do like the tony lamas but they are out of my price range for what I am looking for. I wanna spend about $100.00 and it seems like I might just go with the Jama/Old Western boots for $104.00 shipped. from all the reviews, everyone seems to LOVE them! Gotta order them in the next week o so otherwise I may not get tehm in time due to something about being made once the order has been made...
