Truck is not big enough, figured a roof rack would help make it meatier.

Unfortunately nobody makes a nice rack for the Mega Cab.

I can make this FJ rack fit but before we go fabricating a way to make it fit I figured I would ask for some feedback... I like it but not 100% in love with it.

I don't find it looks too bad, I have been contemplating the same thing. I am more of a fan of the basket style with the expanded metal. Always liked the look of a matching spare in them as well. JMO

WOW! The truck is impressive! The roof rack would be an appropriate addition to it! Impressive how long have you worked on that truck?
I think modifying the front section would be a good start. Bring it back 3-4 inches. Should fit might have to rework the mounting points for the roof contour.

you are not worried about height issues? i know i am with my truck, a 4 inch roof rack would be sweet looking but a little worried with the low bridges in my area lol, i could put my skis and snowboards up on it tho.........fine ill get in line
