2005 2500 with a 5.9l Cummins? Is it stock? First things first. check your GVW or GCVW and see if your not over. other then not knowing if your truck is stock or modified. You might slow down a bit in some steeper grades, but you should be fine.

I drug a 35 foot Avaion[heavy rv] fifth wheel to Arizona with a 95 2500 cummins/auto. with out a problem. Do as Rustin said and go from there.

Shouldn't have a problem. Check how much weight that truck calls for. I know some trucks that go over their set weight have cracked their rear wheels. Most wheels that I have seen like this are aluminum. I've seen it happen mostly with Chevrolet's. I've seen a couple of Dodge's. I have yet to see a Ford but they're are not many Ford's in my area.
