Welcome To Diesel Forums! Drive it normal don't baby it. You need heat to break it in. Don't do the usual drive at 55 for 2000 miles. It will only hurt you in the long run. These diesels are machined to very high tolerances compared to a gasoline power-plant. So there is no real break in period. However; don't cause a boost code either, This could mess up your warranty, you will have prove that you didn't hot rod the truck.
Just drive it normally, and change the oil every 1500 miles for the first 2-3 sets of oil changes, then resume a normal oil change interval in accordance to your owners manual.
