Help buying first Diesel

Im looking for a used truck Cummins or powerstroke. Would i be able to get a decent truck for $14,000? Also how many miles is a lot for a Diesel? I see some in my price range with 100,00 miles.

$14,000 you should be able to get a good 12v or 24v ISB Cummins or any 7.3l to 6.0l power stroke. The miles you will be looking at will be over 100,000 miles the years to look at will be 1998-2003 You might get a 4x4 and mostly 2500 or F-250 you could see the higher ones. They were the most popular.
