I have a 97 F350 and my pinion bearing just went bad so I replaced all the bearing and seals in my axel. Also replaced ball joint, u-joints and multiple other bearings that came in a kit to rebuild my front end. I had a clunk in my front end when I would turn. After all this its still there? It mostly happens when I turn and also hit a bump. What could this be?
You should also check the steer axle rear shackles. On the big trucks i work on i've noticed sometimes a clunk could be caused by worn or loose rear shackles.
