JUST PURCHASED A 2011 DODGE 2500 CREW 4X4 W/6.7 WITHIN THE LAST 3 MONTHS. I JUST ROLLED 5000 MILES. STOCK THE TRUCK AVG 16-20 MPG, THEN I LEVELED IT AND ADDED 20 WHEELS AND 33" TIRES. NOW I AVG 13-14 MPG. I GOT A LIFETIME POWERTRAIN WARRANTY INCLUDED WITH THE PURCHASE ON IT:smiley_thumbs_up:. I HEARD THEIR WAS A MOPAR BACKED PROGRAMMER OUT THERE THAT WILL NOT VOID YOUR WARRANTY:head3:. I COMMUTE 100 MILES A DAY. I SERIOUSLY NEED TO SEE 20+ AVG GALLON OUT OF THIS TRUCK. I HAVE HEARD OF ALOT OF PEOPLE GETTING 20-28 MPG AFTER SOME MODIFICATIONS. I WAS THINKING OF ADDING A CAI, TURBO BACK EXHAUST, AND HOPEFULLY FINDING THIS PROGRAMMER A FRIEND SAW IN A MAGAZINE. ANYONE FEEL LIKE BAILLING ME OUT WITH SOME IDEAS OR DIRECTION?:kap:

Relentless Diesel performance comes to mind. They're out of Houston TX. Check and see if their tunes void the warrantee. They are the only ones I know of that can tune with EFILive. As far as your other mods, do your home work and make some calls to dealerships and performance shops to keep from voiding your warrantee.
I have a 2012 and have been looking for a few months now. About to pull the trigger on some things, but have some last minute questions you brought up.

Will an H&S module(mini maxx) be able to delete any codes recieved for removing my CAT or is it even an issue to install a turbo back exhaust?
Also, was not aware of a programmer that did not void warranty. Please post your findings on this.
I will be checking in on programing, Exhaust, and CIA. When i get to the bottom of this i will post them. Thanks for the pointers.

Once again Do your home work by contacting the dealership and then contacting the vendors or manufactures.

On edit: I have no clue for the moment for you both simply because I don't have a new truck. It's going to be a while for that. I digress. I ill try and help and look into it with you.
Warning on the turbo back and DPF delete...there are rumors abound that a law is going to be passed that if caught without the DPF fines are going to be applied and large ones I hear too.

Where is this information coming from? Do you have a link?
No I dont have I link unfortunately....I heard from a supplier up here in Edmonton that some of the states where adopting this law and the the province of Alberta will have it in place bby the end of this year (supposedly)
I have been preaching that Emissions Laws were coming.
Sadly....I dont quite know whats better for the environment, 30 mpg out of my 2004 Cummins with a bully dog chip and a little black soot.....or 12 or 13 mpg with the DPF burning the soot and STILL sending carbons into the air just clear not black!!

They are just pushing advances that are not quite ready. I totally think that the diesel particulate filter is the most archaic emissions design, but they are trying to curb soot and unburned carbons or fuel. Instead of letting the particles drop to the ground, it is now small enough to enter ones bloodstream. Eventually they will have it down to zero, give or take a proven cancer epidemic. Unfortunately Cle-air has lobbied to keep these in use. Diesels are very efficient in use of power, and will evolve to a better fuel burner soon. However; in my opinion? The old Standard Oil company now Exon/Mobil and with company to British Petroleum, have been so greedy they have actually stymied technology advances form the beginning. Then all of a sudden environmentalism became big business! I strongly believe that Rudolf Diesel would be happy with what we have done with his idea, and then again he would be wondering why we have not evolved to something better.

Just For luke!

Luke does the exhaust kit include the DPF delete if he needs it, or can that be separate?
If he cares to stay legal I don't think he needs it.

Granted these images with links are only for the 2011 Rams. However Diesel Dawgs Performance do carry 2012 stuff and I'm sure the 2013 is almost ready to come out this winter.

Prices are excellent for sure but it doesnt solve the problem of keeping the DPF filter in place for legal purposes. A couple of phone calls to some racing friends and I have discovered that deleting the DPF can result in fines into the thousands as well as the vehicle is towed to the dealership and you pay to have it re-installed.

you don't have to get the DPF delete. You can get a DPF back exhaust. I would strongly suggest to look into the exact laws for emissions in your area. If your allowed to modify your engine, then do so within the limits of the law.

I live in California (flippin @#$%) I'm not allowed to touch the exhaust from the turbo to the catalytic converter. However; The Ford dealership will pass me compared to the mom and pop shops, and CARB will say nothing as long as I still have the Cat! So be careful! Some shops overly do it and some are to laxed. Know your laws, and buy only quality approved parts for your area. I'm sure if it's CARB approved it will be approved in your area. Your emissions should have a website that lists everything that you can and cannot do, including how an inspection is conducted.

Believe it or not in Alberta a new vehicle ill not have an emmisions test for 10 years!! However the law that is being passed will allow police to pull over any NEW diesel vehicle that is blowing black smoke. If the DPF has been removed the vehicle will be ticketed and then towed to the dealership and not allowed on the roads until the filter has been replaced!!! (talked to a friend who is an officer) Nice law?!?!
all the more reason to use products that don't cause any black smoke and allow the DPF to work properly. Software tuning will be the key for you along with some quality performance parts. I think MBRP or Flow Pro will have what your in need of.

You wouldn't happen to be from near Mckinney would you. I just bought my 2012 Ram 4x4 w. 6.7 from Mckinney Dodge and got the lifetime also.

How has your research gone?
All a bunch of horse crap IMO. Just save ur cat+dpf and pray U don't get pulled over!
