I have a 2011 dodge 3500 heavy duty ST, I'm trying to find a way to put keyless entry in it, as it did not come with it. I previously owned a 2003 cummins 3500 and it was pretty easy to install keyless entry in it. Was wondering if its as easy or what the process is to put keyless entry in a 2011. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm in the same boat JW with my '11 2500 ST. I asked the dealer and was told "It would be cheaper to get a brand new truck." Not buying that I called up Car Toys for a second opinion. They said if there were no electrical components in the truck they would have to run harnesses to them to power the locks, etc. I told them I had both power windows and power locks and they told me kits start at $125 installed. I would call around and double check.
