Default looking for a filter

I am looking for a K&N filter to test for my intakes that I make and sell. Currently I use the Donaldson B085011. It has dimensions of:

Length: 11" (279 mm)
Outlet Diameter: 8.5" (216 mm)
Inlet Diameter: 4" (102 mm)

going by the K&N website, K&N part number RF-1027 would be pretty close with dimensions of:

Length (in) 8.000 in.
Air Filter Top Measurement 4.500 in. diameter
Air Filter Bottom Measurement 6.500 in. diameter
Inlet Flange Inside Diameter (in) 4.000 in.

what do you think? do you have a better option?

I'm sic of K&N. their oil system and filters are not like they used to be. I just tossed my K&N to the side because of the locals over here are over priced on there cleaning supplies. Even though my intake is stock and only sees highway and city mileage It has become a pain to clean every thirty thousand miles when the check filter element goes off. The filter has become on usable after three cleanings. The filter its self leaves residue in my intake, this is on top of my CCV leaving residue. If I ever go back to a similar filter, I might look into green filters. I met them at the SEMA show. It seems like a good product, but K&N has ruined that side for me. I'm Going back to a Donaldson paper element.
