Default Suspension "fix"?

My wife and I recently purchased a 2010 Ram 2500 Cummins Laramie Crew SB. I got a deal on it and couldn’t pass it up (over a comparable half ton). We love it, other than when we’re interstate driving with a relatively empty bed. The expansion gaps where we commonly drive make comfortable driving non-existent. I knew jumping from a half ton to a three quarter would sacrifice some comfort when driving empty, I get it. Our truck is our daily driver, so I'm wondering if there are any “fixes” to the rough empty ride with an HD truck? Is a Firestone R4Tech system all it’s cracked-up to be for this fix, or are there other options out there?

Welcome to diesel forums
I'm not familiar with the Firestone R4Tech system.
If it is an air ride system I would say that would be the way
to go. This way your not giving up the 3/4 ton capabilities

If the 3/4 ton capabilities aren't important ? You could loose the E rated tire and go to a lower rated tire (C)
