Default New guy has questions

Hey guys and gals, I browse this forum regularly but have a specific question so figured it was time to join. I have a 99 dodge cummins, with automatic tranny and few upgrades(edge chip and a failing DPp pump). My fuel pressure has been low, my dpp pump has been really loud and engine power has been rapidly I ordered an airdog 2 165. I'm in the middle of the install and running into questions. It already has the dpp(diesel performance products) pump on it with the 1/2" fuel lines to it, the airdog system has a kit that installs in the top of the tank to presumably allow more flow to the pump due to the larger line size than stock line. However, since there is already 1/2" line coming from the tank is it safe to assume that the dpp pump also had the same mod for the 1/2" lines? Or do I need to pull the bed to install the airdog component?
